As public awareness and outreach director, Roz is responsible for select marketing and communications efforts in the Academic Affairs & Policy department. She has been involved in the strategic direction of a NSF math and science outreach program, the first of its kind and is now leading several strategic public awareness and outreach efforts with GEAR UP Georgia and adult learner initiatives with Complete College Georgia.
Prior to joining the University System Office, Rosalind was public relations manager for Wachovia Corporation where she directed internal and client communications as well as media relations. She has also served as the National Director of Communications and Public Affairs for INROADS, Inc., a non-profit organization, where she was responsible for all aspects of the organization’s public affairs and advertising activities along with directing a national campus marketing campaign across 41 states. She received her AB degree in Sociology and Policy Studies from Dartmouth College before completing a Master of Public Administration at Syracuse University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate of Education at Northeastern University.
