GSU Panther Retention Grants Featured on GPB

Georgia State University's Panther Retention Grants were the focus of a recent profile from Georgia Public Broadcasting.  The article, which highlights the impact a relatively small sum of money can have on completion, provides further testimony to the effectiveness of this strategy. The grants have garnered their fair share of attention, including mentions by President Obama at the White House's second College Opportunity Day of Action and in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Other institutions have shown interest in the "last mile" approach to help students financially to complete their educational programs and achieve degrees.  Georgia State's leadership in this arena has been recognized nationally.
