CCG/Momentum Plan Campus Updates 2022

Each year, Institutions across the University System of Georgia report on their progress toward meeting the governor's college attainment goals for the state.  The 2021-2022 academic year reflected institutional resilience among the institutions across the state. This year's Campus Plan Updates focus on the activities and strategies that campuses designed as an outcome of the Momentum Summit V, which focused on a reflective process for understanding our work. While Georgia’s colleges and universities provide a wide range of programs to meet the state’s diverse needs, each tailored to their institutional mission and student body profile, taking a Momentum approach to student success ensures that these activities provide a coherent, comprehensive, and student-focused approach that is supported by the best research and data available.

CCG Campus Plans CoverThe report for each institution highlights the diversity of challenges and innovation that continues to mark Georgia as a national leader in supporting students as they work toward their college aspirations and offers insights into the ways that the work continued to evolve and develop. The reports further offer a window into the resilience of this foundational success work and highlights the many ways that institutional adoption of Momentum provided structural and conceptual frameworks for resilient student success in a time of challenge. Among the highlights from the current year are the significant strides institutions have made to advance the academic progress of students with learning support needs, the increasing focus on advising and analytics to inform student decision making, and the increased use of program maps, fuller schedules, and analytics.  This year's updates underscore institution's commitments to using data to measure their progress and make adjustments as they go. As illustrated in the report, the institutions of the University System of Georgia are addressing the needs of Georgia's citizens and businesses to be competitive and strong.
