Green Zone training is offered to all faculty and staff to learn more about our military- connected student population. The military-connected student population is 12-14% of our total student population at Georgia Southern University.
Evaluation Plan and measures: Annual review based on questions posed and any new information on the demographic population.
Baseline measure: Organizational unit engagement.
Goal or targets: 100% organizational unit engagement.
Time period/duration: Each term/academic year.
Scaling.
Working with incoming populations at new faculty orientation, all-advisor meetings, and division annual meetings. Additional publicity and partnerships. For 2022, 120 Faculty/Staff receive Gz Training. For 2023, 170 Faculty/Staff have been trained (as of 03/06/2023), with another 100+ anticipated by end of year.
