The 2018 USG Advising Academy focused on supporting successful student transition to college, investigating the ways institutions serve a diverse group as they navigate the steps from application through the completion of their Momentum Year. At the Academy, each institution worked as a team to develop plans for improving their transition to college, broadly defined. These plans were to be reviewed on campus for a month before being submitted to the System Office.
The established common course number for the corequisite course is MATH 0996 or STAT 0996 depending on whether the institution is using the MATH or STAT prefix for the statistics course. The details (for your catalog) are as follows:
MATH or STAT 0996 Support for Elementary Statistics (1-3 institutional credit hours)
Prerequisites: None
Corequisite: MATH or STAT 1401 Elementary Statistics
